This Started as a Personal Problem.
Lori Howard had spent three decades helping people understand medications and their bodies. She knew how to read a clinical study. She knew what ingredients actually did — and which ones were just label decoration.
So when she turned her attention to skincare, she was shocked. Ingredient lists full of fillers. Marketing claims that didn't hold up. Routines so complicated that no normal human being could sustain them.
She didn't set out to start a company. She set out to solve a problem — for herself, and for every person like her who wanted healthy skin without the noise.

As a pharmacist with access to clinical research, Lori went deep. She discovered Spin Trap technology — a category of antioxidant called Phenyl t-Butylnitrone (PBN) — that was far ahead of anything she'd seen in commercial skincare.
Unlike conventional antioxidants that simply neutralize free radicals, Spin Traps actually transform them — converting destructive energy into something stable and harmless. Researchers have also found that PBN inhibits the NF-kB protein complex that drives chronic inflammation in skin cells.

Lori Howard is a pharmacist, farmer, grandmother, and the kind of person who will spend three years perfecting something before she considers it ready.
Her 30+ year career in pharmaceutical care gave her an unusual advantage: she knew how to evaluate an ingredient against actual clinical evidence. She formulated in batches. She discarded batches. She tested on herself, then her family, then her friends.
"When the feedback stopped being polite encouragement and started being genuine questions — 'what are you using on your skin?' — she knew she was onto something."
She lives on a farm in Arkansas where she raises miniature donkeys, hosts an Airbnb, and remains, to this day, more interested in the science of your skin than in the business of selling it.
